Research Archives:
Fluids Engineering Research: Conducted extensive research on three-dimensional turbulent boundary layer of air flow. Measured Reynolds Stress Tensors and investigated their effects in different flow fields. The results have immense engineering applications, for example, in aerospace engineering.
Thermal Engineering Research: Indept investigations of the propagation of thermal radiation in metals and other absorbing media were carried out. Also, experimental work on extremely low temperature refrigeration (cryogenics) was done with the aim of getting close to absolute zero (Kelvin) temperature. This has major application in bio-medical engineering.
Solar Energy Research: Conducted intensive solar energy research as a reneweable energy with various applications.
Power plant energy and energy analysis: this is geared towards increasing the thermal efficiency of various power plants and combating the present global warming.
